Brittany has one of France's most varied landscapes and a ceaselessly dramatic coastline with superb beaches,
bays and ports. This area is popular with families and with those wishing to hike the coastline or discover
Breton culture. The nothern side is rugged and rocky, the south, gentler with vast stretches of sand,
while the cliffs on the west coast create some of Breton's most savage scenery.
Offshore islands ring the coast each with its own unique personality.
'Camping du Quinquis' is English owned and managed campsite with approx 130 mobile homes.
The site is set in 20 acres of woodland park about 2km from Le Pouldu on the south coast.
This is a very tranquil and informal 3 star site catering not only for young families but also the discerning
holiday maker looking for a relaxed break.
The town lies at the mouth of the river Laita and was one of Paul Gauguin's favorite haunts. It is divided into two
distinct sections, the tiny port shielded from the open sea by a curving spit of sand and the main town with its
famous beaches and a succession of delightful little sandy coves.
The river Laita is extremely picturesque and the footpaths along its banks are a delight for walkers. There are
orgainsed river trips and kayaks can be hired by the more adventurous.

- Children's 'Mole Club' - popular entertainment for the little ones. Two new play areas.
- A 9 hole 'crazy golf' course, Football pitch, Games room and Table tennis.

Local attractions
The beaches are quite superb. The whole area is a great location for fishing, sailing, a multitude of watersports
including kayak hire on the nearby river for the more adventurous.
There are two local zoos,one at the end of the lane and onother about 20 mins by car. Horse riding stables 500m,
public tennis courts in Le Pouldu and there are several golf courses within a short drive.
Art lovers can enjoy the local Gauguin galleries and museums.
There are several supermarkets and a good selection of local shops within a 10 minute drive.
There is a small shop on the site for essentials.
Le Pouldu and surrounding villages offer a number of restaurants, catering for all tastes from gourmet to real good
value routiers where you can get a 4-5 course meal for about 10€ including wine.
